In an incredible purge the Enola Gay
has been removed from Pentagon documents.
One can imagine Pete putting in the DoD
search engine ‘LGBTQ’ and coming up
with this infamous airplane.
The directive from the Commander in Chief
was clear: gay must go. It is a hunk of metal,
and the hilarity of the idiocy is almost
worth the degradation.
Not so with Major General Charles Calvin Rogers,
retired from the military after 32 years of service,
buried at Arlington and awarded the Medal of Honor
“for conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity
in action at the risk of his life
and beyond the call of duty.”
He was ordained a Baptist minister and spent his
final years ministering American soldiers in Germany,
and didn’t come up in that ‘gay’ search.
I’m not implying that Pete made a mistake
when he removed Charles’ story of bravery
from DoD records. He did after all promise senators
he’d quit drinking. I’m curious though,
if he could share with us what word or phrase
he punched up in that infinitely wise search engine
that led him to disgrace himself, and all those serving
around the globe, with this disgusting removal.
At this point, we all should want to know.
