Are we to be fools, washed upon a sea of madness —

can our eyes not see?
will our ears not hear?

Be there a man who can say no,
When everyone pretends to agree?

How foolish they are, who live life as a game
Only to find as their end nears
That time cannot give back, what it has taken away.
