Grab & Go Meal Sites for Children

In all the pandemic hoopla, it’s easy to suggest all public facilities be closed to protect children and the elderly. But many children depend upon schools and their school meal programs. Closing the schools has closed their cupboards.

Fortunately several sites have popped up around King County to take care of this problem.

All children up to 18yrs of age are eligible to receive a free packed breakfast/lunch meal at the sites below. Even better, children do not need to be enrolled in that school district to receive meals. They do, however, need to be present to pick up their food.

With the schools officially being closed, it isn’t possible for children and students to eat at the schools, so make sure to arrange for a way to get home safely.
