Free Thing of the Week: Creative Commons Jazz Mixtape #7

Our publisher man dug deep into his belief that jazz isn’t dead and came back with this, the seventh of our all-jazz, all-Creative Commons mixtapes. He says that each of them will fit perfectly on a Radio Shack 90 min cassette, but we can’t find a Radio Shack to test, so you might try a Maxell or TDK.

This one actually digs back into the days before Creative Commons existed, too, to revisit a couple of tracks from the 1980s that have been re-issued with Creative Commons licenses. We sincerely wish more artists would do this. And of course there’s the usual eclectic itinerary, with this mix featuring artists from France, Argentina, The Netherlands, Canada, Germany, Italy, and somewhere in the Bayou as well.

Get it? Got it? Good.

Check it out here on Mixcloud.
